“I highly recommend Caroline’s paint workshops! I did the paint techniques course where I was taught decoupage, crackle and French distress using different techniques… I absolutely loved it! I have come home with a French Chateau distressed style pot cupboard painted by myself.. Caroline is a fabulous teacher, very friendly and helpful. I even enjoyed a 2 course homemade meal. Thank you Caroline”

Questions about my painting courses

What happens on a course?

The start of a painting course begins with a coffee, introductions and choosing your piece of furniture to paint that afternoon. There will be a quick run-through of the Frenchic products. We’ll use wooden boards divided into sections to practice different techniques. Lunchbreak will approximately be at 12.30. The two course lunch will be eaten in the garden if weather permits, enjoying the Malvern Hills views!

After lunch you’ll prep your chosen piece of furniture and start painting, using the techniques learnt that morning. Later in the afternoon we’ll celebrate the completion of the piece with a glass of Prosecco. Should you chose to buy any Frenchic products then a 10% discount is offered to any purchased on the day. You will leave with the sample board, your piece of furniture and the memories of a fun day!

I’m not creative, do it matter?

Whether you feel you are creative or not, techniques and skills can be easily learnt so that a piece of old/tired furniture can be transformed into something that will be admired and have a use. Much satisfaction can be gained by this achievement. Painting is very therapeutic!

Where are the courses held

Painting workshop courses are held in my heated workshop that has a large window enjoying Malvern Hill views. Lunches are taken either in my home or garden if weather permits.

What do I need to bring to the course?

Just yourself! Aprons will be provided, plus a piece of furniture/pot/tray. All the materials used are included in the course price, however, should you wish to purchase any to take home then a 10% discount is offered to any bought on the day.

I have food allergies

When you book on a course, you will be asked if you have any dietary requirements.

Do you have accommodation?

Yes we can offer a bed and breakfast option. There is a single or double bedroom that workshop guests can use at an additional cost. Please let me know in the ‘Additional notes’ on the checkout when buying a course.
